What is State?
The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBHSE) is a statutory and autonomous body established under the "Maharashtra Secondary Boards Act" 1965 (amended in the year 1977). MSBHSE conducts the SSC examination for Std.10th and HSC examination for Std 12th. It is the 2 nd most popular education board in India (after CBSE) in terms of enrolment in high school. It has been ranked 4th in the 'Futuristic Education Boards in India' among more than 35 educational boards.
